Optimalisasi Sistim Pendokumentasian Pemberian Asuhan Keperawatan (SIDOPAK) Melalui Aplikasi Elektronik Yang Terintegrasi Dengan SIMRS

Abstract

Nursing documentation through Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is an important effort to improve the efficiency and quality of nursing services. However, some hospitals still experience obstacles because the EMR application used is not optimal, especially in terms of documentation time efficiency and nursing data management. Objective: This study aims to optimize the SIMRS-based EMR of Bhayangkara Hospital Class I Pusdokkes Polri through the development of the "Sidopak" application or Nursing Care Documentation Information System, and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the application in supporting nurse performance. Method: This study used a pilot project approach with a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation review, and evaluation of the use of the Sidopak application by nurses in the process of documenting nursing care. Results: The results of the study showed an increase in compliance with filling out Sidopak after the application was implemented. In addition, nurses were able to start using Sidopak in the process of documenting nursing care. However, several obstacles were still found, especially in technical aspects and the need for feature enhancements to optimize the application's use. Conclusion: The development of the Sidopak application has the potential to improve efficiency, documentation compliance, and the quality of EMR-based nursing documentation. Further optimization is needed through additional storage for mobile devices and tablets in each treatment room, as well as 24/7 IT support to maintain SIMRS stability
